Arrived for my first full 1 hour observation. I arrived at
about 5:40 and it was turning dark quickly and the street lights did not come
on until 6pm. It was extremely cold, windy and quiet here tonight. The only
people I observed staying within the area were one young kissing couple, who
were sitting on the tiered block, and the occasional group of tourist who came
to take photos of the old town which looks amazing from this area at night. There
was also a constant stream of people walking through the precinct either
heading into princess street or taking the flight of steps that heads up
towards the old town. I did not unfortunately observe anything of interest at
this time.
